Who am I?
I am Amanda and I have a blooming passion to create with my hands. All my creations are always in alignment with our wonderful planet.
My grandmother, Maj, taught me to knit when I was a young girl, it is something I cherish deep in my heart. To learn artwork is truly a gift, I always think of her when I create with yarn.. So almost 3 decades later, knitting & crocheting with fluffy, soft, colorful mohair yarns has taken over a big part of my life. I love it!
When I create, I go deep within and inspiration slowly takes over, like dragons flying to me with ideas, planting seeds of beauty and joy. My work is to water these seeds with my focus and hold space for whatever wants to grow.. It is so beautiful and I treasure my creative world deeply..
I wish for every human being to feel that, creativity has been my medicine, not only knitting & crocheting, I also create music, I sing & paint, dance. It takes me into myself, like mirrors of my inner world. All creations comes from within, it is like a piece of you manifests as art. So beautiful.. Creativity is expression.
I also create tallow butter, that we have created since beginning of time. I am studying ancient norse natural medicine right now and I have a huge passion for the natural world and our health. Since I have struggled with psoriasis since my teenage years & I am on a deep journey to heal myself completly. I do carry a fierce rebell within, I believe that we need to connect back to nature to heal. Our medicine is in nature.
That is why I honor & create with Her. I am a lover of our beloved Mother Earth and all creatures living here, animals, plants & humans. I want my creations to be a part of Her and take my responsibility as a creator to birth a brand that goes hand in hand with this natural beautiful world that we all are a part of.
